Welcome to Mulberry Bush Walmersley

Our Walmersley nursery is set in a beautiful, stone building which has been transformed into a modern, state of the art childcare setting. The extensive conversion from public house to children’s nursery in 2011 allowed us to knock down walls and create new open spaces, flooding the rooms inside with light. 

The nursery occupies a great location on Walmersley Road, close to the Ramsbottom junction of the M66 motorway and parents can use the nursery car park for safe and convenient parking.

The nursery has twice received an ‘Outstanding’ judgement from Ofsted across all areas, with the last inspection completed in July 2022. 

We offer outstanding childcare for children aged from 0 to 5 years, with 80 registered childcare places. We are open 8am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. We also offer an early session from 7.30am and a late session until 6pm which parents can choose to use as needed.
