Mulberry Bush Central Support

Our nursery managers benefit from a central support team which allows them to focus their energies on childcare issues. Being able to spend time in the units observing practice and mentoring their staff, means our managers ensure we provide outstanding levels of childcare on a daily basis.

Our Senior Manager, Stacey Kenyon, has worked for Mulberry Bush since 2003 and during that time has managed three of our settings. She has also achieved a Foundation Degree in Early Years, a BA Hons Degree and most recently her Early Years Professional Status. Stacey is passionate about providing the very best care for all of our children, every day. Her knowledge and experience allows her to support our management teams and train our senior staff. Her role also allows her to work between all of our nurseries, sharing best practice ideas and helping us to constantly review and improve the care we provide.

Our HR/Business Manager Sharon Rumens manages a small team of admin support based on the second floor of the Walmersley nursery, which includes Cara Slater our Accounts Manager.

Sharon and her team provide invaluable support to the nursery management teams and nursery directors, in relation to recruitment, HR issues, sharing resources across the nurseries as well as billing and accounts input. This extra layer of support allows us to evaluate and reflect on our current practice and plan future improvements.
