SEND Provision

Inclusivity has always been a driving force for us all at Mulberry Bush.  We are proud to have provided care to hundreds of children with varying special education needs over the years. 

We are passionate about early intervention and supporting children and their families to navigate the complex SEND processes. Most importantly we are there for our children with SEND - we are on their team! 

This applies to children whose SEND needs have emerged or become apparent during their time with us at nursery, as well as those children whose families who have sought us out to provide support and care for their child’s already identified needs.  We are regularly signposted by professionals working with families of children with SEND as being able to support their child and meet their needs. 

From nursery through to primary school provision

We are experts at seeking out the funding necessary for children to be able to have the interventions and personalised support that they need. We are familiar with the EHCP process and supporting families with this important step well before children leave us to go to primary school. 

We are entirely child centred and place a huge focus on the transition from nursery to mainstream or specialist primary school provision for our wonderful children - a process which is all the more important when children require additional support and intervention.
